Black Rose

I met with my book club this weekend and we had a ball. The book that we read for September was The Black Rose. It is a biographical fiction sory about the life of Madam CJ Walker. The first black millionaire in history. The story is incredible. I loved the ambition, drive, determination, and charisma of the character Sarah Walker (Madam CJ.) She was such a smart woman and had an amazing business sense during the later 1800- early 1900s. This book is definitely worth reading!!

Grey's Anatomy

Okay everyone... tonight is the Season Premiere of Grey's Anatomy.. I cannot wait to see what's going to happen. All of the commercials look really great... Who will Meredith choose? What about Izzy..is she really going to quit? And then there is Dr. Burke is he going to be okay..more importantly will his relationship with Christina survive such a devestating experience? I can't wait to see what is going to happen.. you gotta watch it tonight on ABC at 9:00 PM!!! GREY'S ANATOMY!!!

I'm Want Emmitt......to win!

I have become completely addicted to Dancing with the Stars. If you missed it last week.. you missed Emmitt Smith dancing! He was phenomenal. I thought he was one of the best MarioLopez, Vivica Fox, and Willa Ford also did great jobs as well. I also enjoyed Jerry Springer.. not because he was the best dancer at all. He was so sweet and he can dance well, not just as well as the others. Mario Lopez was so humble even though he dances like a little machine! Vivica Fox surprised me, but one of my friends said she seems very competitive and looks like she would do anything well. It was just funny to watch Willa Ford and partner in rehearsals. I really like this show. If you have not seen the movie "Take the Lead" you should definitely rent it, view it, purchase it, netfix it or whatever! It is wonderful! Danceing with the Stars....watch it tonight!!!

Etta James

Recently, I started listening to this Amazing Etta James CD that one of my friends created for me. This woman was powerful !! I have been enjoying listening to her songs so much!! If a woman has lost her sense of sensuality... she should definitely listen to Etta James!! She created "Girl Power!"
