School is almost out!

I am going to have a much better 2nd half of the day. 5th grade came in today with their ususal rudeness and thought I was just going to allow them to disrespect me. I tried to remain patient as long as I possibly could, but I finally just went off. I am so tired of bad kids. We have a major problem with disrespectfulness to teachers. My only consolation is that school is almost out! I will be soo happy! My recital is in a few days! Got my dress, hair appointment, photographer, and other stuff. I think today I am going to print the programs..so much stuff to do..in so little time!!

Bounce!

Last week we had field day! I was in charge of the Moon Bounce!! It was lots of fun for the children! I think I almost lost my mind on the second day! It was much hotter and I got a massive rush at the end. The school next door is having field day today. They basically are having a carnival. They have 5 Moon Bounces with the basketball goals, slides, snow cones, and horses!! Amazing!! I wish I was next door today......just a little. It is supposed to get up to 90 degrees today so in a way I am glad field day our field day was last week! Having issues with my surgery dates...I am frazzled! Trying to keep it together!!

Designer Stationary

My hair is singing! It was soo messed up! my hairdresser went out of town and I was looking crazy!! Anyway, yesterday I went and go my do did!! It looks and feels so much better!! At the hairsalon I was reading Oprah's O magazine and saw this cute little item on her list!! You can create a character to look like yourself and have it printed on stationary, business cards, etc. This is completely girly! but I think it is pretty cool!!

Movie Madness

This weekend I watched some fun movies. Something New was really interesting. This woman thought she knew what she wanted in a man and realized that she need all the things she didn't want in her life. I really liked the movie. Then the I watched In Her Shoes it was a really great movie about sisters and the love of a sister. It inspired me to call my sister and desire a stronger relationship with her. These movies were really good! I really liked the relationships in the movie.

FRIDAY!!!!

I am soo happy that it is the weekend! This week was okay because we have been testing for two days. I did not have to go to any rehearsals, so I could go to Pilates! Oh, my God! I was complete mess!! I am going to make sure I keep going up until my surgery so that I can have a speedy recovery! today I have been listening to this Quincy Jones Ultimate Collection CD! I have been relaxing! All I need is a nice cocktail!! ..The recital is in two week!!

I need a Life Compass

This is the street that I need to live on. In the past couple of weeks I have starting to feel like my life is coming unraveled. I need a much better sense of the direction that I am heading in my life.You know how sometimes you can picture the things that may happen in your future, or even things that you are interested in. After this summer, my mind is drawing a complete blank. There is an 80 % chance that I will be moving to Alabama. I realize how important it is for me to be closer to family! I don't know if I am happy, excited, scared, sad or just confused! Where ever I end up...I want to live on Prosperity Drive!

I need my MOM!!

Well, I went to the doctor yesterday. My ultrasound confirmed that I have a huge Fibroid Tumor. This thing is the size of a 20 week-5 month pregnancy! Oh, my god! I kept wondering why my stomach had gotten so round!! I am definitely having surgery to removed this thing this summer. The sad thing is, I need a reliable source to come stay with me for at least a week after the surgery. I wanted to talk to my mom so bad yesterday, I did not know what to do. I felt like I was going to loose it! I know there is nothing like the comfort of a mom! I am so tired of going through stuff by myself. It is just too damn hard!

Good Vibes

I am going to have a good week!! Last week, the pollen got to me really badly, I felt terrible for half the week because of allergies! I spent the other half angry with a co-worker! One of the students got so mad at me he said: " I hate you, I am goingto throw rocks at your car when you go home!" He kicked and screamed, turned over chairs and even tried to turn over the table! (He got 2 days of in-school suspension) I did not even go to the gym and I am going to pay for it when I go back tonight! And yesterday was Mother's Day and my mom died 3 years ago..... depressing!! SO this week is going to be great! No allergy problems! The children will be mannerable and polite! and Every thing will be pleasant! Gotta speak this stuff in the universe man!!

Last Holiday!

This weekend I watched one of the best movies I have seen in a while!1 I simply loved it. The movie is called Last holiday! It's about this woman who finds out she will be dying and decided to live like she has never lived before!! The movie was great for me. I feel like sometimes I am very much like that character and don't take chances on the things that I should! I really puts life in a whole new perspective. Plus, the movie is extremely funny! I know that everyone who sees this movie will definitely enjoy it!!! It is now on DVD!!

Do you know her?

Well, things are getting better in preparation for my recital. I finally rehearsed with my accompanist. I think it went really well. Last week, I gave one of my post cards for my recital to a teacher and he was like.."Do you know her?" I just said, "Yes, because that is me!" Wow!! I know I don't look that bad at work! I must admit, I did take my new headshots when school was out and there was a lot less stress in my life, plus I don't wear make-up every day at school. 4 more weeks of school!!! The days are not coming fast enough.

Here is one of the other pictures from my New York Trip. On the bus ride up, I was sitting next to this man who wanted to read my magazines and everything, then he wanted to use my phone when we got close to the city! The nerve of some people. He even wanted to read this book I have called: A Guide to Womanly Arts by Gena Thomahauser. I was like, no you can't read this book it is for women. I know he was not American, but I could not figure out what country he was from. He said it was his first time in America. I wonder where he is now.

Vandiver

One of my good friends just bought a Lexus and I thought it was very interesting that I had taken some pictures a couple of weeks ago when I was at the dealership getting my breaks fixed. No, I do not own a Lexus, the dealership was next door to mine. I have the accompanist for my recital, my flyers, and post cards. My friend and I almost broke the copier last night trying to make the post cards so I just had to print them last night on my personal printer. I am very excited about the recital!
